It's important to match a student with the dance program that best matches their skills and goals so that they can get the most out of their time with us
The Competition Team consists of our most skilled dancers who have passed an audition. Team dancers perform at all LA Dance performances throughout the year and must participate in numerous competitions and conventions.

Recreational classes are designed to teach basic technique to students and build on those skills over time. All recreational dancers will learn one or more routines to perform at the end-of-year recital.

Technique classes are designed to offer students the chance to learn more advanced technique skills than what is taught in recreational classes. Some technique classes do not learn routines for the end-of-year recital.

Required Dancewear
Students must wear a leotard/dance dress in the color listed here based on their age division unless otherwise noted on the class style page. A pair of dance shorts or a dance skirt may be added as well.
