Recital @ Livingston Performing Arts & Media Center

The students of LA Dance work very hard throughout the year to prepare for their annual recital. This year's recital theme is will be announced soon, and all styles of dance from ballet, to tap, to jazz, to lyrical, to hip hop will be represented.  We encourage everyone in the community to join us at the recital and support the members of the LA Dance family. Attendance is free of charge and open to everyone!  The performance will be held this year at the Livingston Center, which is located in Roosevelt State Park in Morton. We hope to see you there!

Loose Caboose Festival @ Downtown Newton

Every year the Chamber of Commerce hosts the Loose Caboose Festival in downtown Newton. Activities during the festival include: a midway carnival, car show, petting zoo, arts & crafts vendors, and live entertainment including performances by the students from LA Dance.

We at LA Dance love to provide our students with many opportunities to perform for the local community here in Newton, MS.  Use this page to keep track of when and where you can see us in action!

Christmas Performances

December 2018 (performance dates and times TBA)

In December, the competition and performance team students of LA Dance will perform Christmas-themed routines for residents at CMRC, Woodland Court, and Footprints.

Treat Street @ CMRC

October 29, 2018 - 4:30 pm & 6:30 pm

​Every Halloween the city of Newton sponsors the Treat Street celebration.  This event provides local children with the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities such as trick-or-treating, games, pony rides, and shopping.  Various local groups also perform to provide entertainment for the attendees.  Students from LA Dance will perform Halloween-themed routines during Treat Street.
